Securitize launches tokenized U.S. stock trading on Solana, offering global investors access to major equities
Securitize has launched Securitize Stocks, a platform enabling eligible investors in the United States, European Union and other permitted jurisdictions to trade tokenized U.S. equities on the Solana blockchain.
Announced on 8 October 2026, the offering initially includes tokenized exposure to shares of major companies such as Apple, Microsoft, Nvidia, Alphabet, Tesla, Meta, Amazon, Netflix, Strategy and Palantir, among others.
Unlike products that simply track stock prices, Securitize Stocks are backed 1:1 by underlying shares and structured to preserve applicable shareholder rights and economic benefits, including dividends and voting rights where available. Investors may also be able to convert their tokens into directly registered shares when supported.
Trading will initially take place through Securitize’s registered broker-dealer platform on Solana, with transactions settled in USDC. Jump Trading will provide market-making support to improve liquidity and price discovery.
The platform will initially support extended-hours trading, with plans to introduce 24/7 access. Securitize Stocks are also expected to become available on the New York Stock Exchange’s planned digital trading venue and the upcoming OKXICE Tokenized Securities Venue, subject to regulatory and operational requirements.
Securitize is also working with institutional partners, including Ripple Prime, to explore broader trading opportunities, while future integrations with decentralized finance platforms such as Aave could allow tokenized stocks to be used as collateral for lending.
Access to the offering remains subject to investor eligibility, identity verification, anti-money laundering requirements and applicable securities regulations.
