Crypto.com Extends Partnership with Formula 1, Aims to Boost Fan Engagement

Crypto.com and Formula 1 have announced the extension of their global partnership, which has seen impressive growth for both brands. Since their collaboration began, Formula 1 has grown its social media following to 96 million and reached a staggering 1.5 billion viewers globally.

During the same period, Crypto.com has expanded its user base to over 100 million, a tenfold increase from when the partnership started.

The renewed agreement places a strong focus on enhancing fan engagement. Crypto.com plans to roll out exclusive events and activations at select Grands Prix, further connecting fans to the world of racing.

Additionally, the platform will continue as the Official Title Partner of the Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix, a role it has held since the event’s debut in 2022.

Steven Kalifowitz, Crypto.com’s Chief Marketing Officer, emphasized the significance of the partnership, stating:
”Formula 1 was one of our first global sports partnerships and a key driver in making Crypto.com the world’s most recognized crypto brand.”

In another move highlighting its sports partnerships, Crypto.com sponsored the Crypto.com Showdown, a professional golf tournament held on December 17 in Las Vegas. Featuring top PGA and LIV Golf players, the event offered a multimillion-dollar prize pool, funded entirely by the platform’s in-house CRO cryptocurrency.

This ongoing collaboration between Crypto.com and Formula 1 showcases the potential for innovative partnerships to enhance both brand visibility and fan experiences.
