Bybit has enabled six tokenized US stocks as collateral for margin trading and crypto loans, expanding the use of blockchain-based equities across its platform.
Eligible retail and institutional users can now use tokenized shares of Nvidia (NVDAX), Apple (AAPLX), Tesla (TSLAX), Alphabet (GOOGLX), Robinhood (HOODX) and Circle (CRCLX) as collateral through Bybit’s Unified Trading Account, Crypto Loans and Institutional Loans. Access is subject to the exchange’s lending terms and product availability.
The Dubai-based exchange launched xStocks in June through a partnership with tokenization platform Backed, listing more than 60 tokenized US stocks and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) on its spot market. Each tokenized asset is backed 1:1 by the underlying security, which is held by a regulated custodian.
Bybit joins a growing number of exchanges expanding the role of tokenized equities in crypto trading. Kraken, which agreed to acquire Backed in late 2025, began accepting select tokenized stocks and ETFs as collateral for futures and margin trading earlier this month. Bitget rolled out the feature for futures margin in June and extended it to crypto loans in July.
The tokenized equities market has grown rapidly over the past year. According to RWA.xyz, the total value of tokenized stocks has increased from about $361 million in late July 2025 to roughly $1.72 billion today.
