Bitwise Solana ETF Surpasses $1B in Assets

The Bitwise Solana Staking ETF has surpassed $1 billion in assets under management (AUM), just 10 months after launching.

The milestone makes up more than half of the total assets held across spot Solana ETFs, according to The Block’s data. Bitwise said the strong inflows are particularly notable because much of the growth came during a difficult period for crypto markets.

The ETF’s shares are still about 40% below their launch price, while Solana (SOL) remains roughly 60% below its all-time high. Despite this, spot Solana ETFs have recorded more than $13 billion in cumulative trading volume since launching in September 2025.

Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas noted that the category has attracted around $1.7 billion in net flows, with no extended period of outflows despite the market downturn.

The milestone also comes as institutional interest in Solana continues to grow. Charles Schwab recently announced plans to add spot Solana trading to its platform, giving more traditional investors access to the asset.

Overall, the strong ETF flows suggest institutional demand for Solana has remained resilient despite the broader crypto market weakness.
